During the first half of 2026, UNHCR strengthened the economic inclusion of refugees and host communities through integrated interventions focused on skills development, entrepreneurship, access to productive assets, financial services, and markets. These investments enable beneficiaries to build sustainable livelihoods, increase their incomes, and enhance their resilience to economic shocks. By fostering partnerships with public institutions, the private sector, and development actors, UNHCR facilitates refugees’ access to economic opportunities and national systems.
